About The Position

We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging After School STEM Instructors to lead our exciting programs in 3D Printing, Little Detectives, Space Explorers, and Robotics with Ozobot. This role involves teaching students from Pre-K3 to 6th grade at our Hollywood, CA location. The program runs from September 7th to October 29th, with classes held Monday through Thursday from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM. Instructors will be compensated at a rate of $65 per hour of class.

Requirements

Experience working with children in a teaching or camp counselor capacity.
Passion for STEM education and a strong understanding of the program topics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a classroom of young students.
Reliable and punctual.
Must be available to work Monday through Thursday from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM.
Must be available for the full program duration from September 7th to October 29th.

Nice To Haves

Experience with 3D printing technology.
Knowledge of robotics platforms like Ozobot.
Background in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Lead and instruct students in STEM programs including 3D Printing, Little Detectives, Space Explorers, and Robotics with Ozobot.
Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.
Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to suit different age groups (Pre-K3-6th grade).
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and program coordinators.
Prepare materials and set up the classroom for each session.
Oversee student conduct and ensure adherence to program rules.
Participate in any required training or staff meetings.
