Requirements

• Strong understanding of safety hazards and the necessary precautions to create a safe environment for all participants.
• Sound knowledge of basic fundamentals and techniques related to athletics, fitness, cultural/social activities, and arts and crafts.
• Ability to physically exhibit and conduct program activities offered to participants.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children and their families.
• Creativity and innovation in developing captivating programming.
• Organizational skills to plan and coordinate activities successfully.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Must pass a thorough criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and assisting children with their homework, arts and crafts, and the development of essential teamwork and social skills.
• Developing engaging instructional methods that captivate participants' interests.
• Inspecting facilities for potential hazards and promptly reporting broken equipment to your supervisor.
• Planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing recreation and athletic programs tailored to the community's needs.
• Fostering individual growth in children.
• Enhancing community engagement through well-structured recreation initiatives.
