About The Position

Join Kamaʻāina Kids as an After School Program Aide and spend your afternoons encouraging, supporting, and having fun with elementary school students. It's an ideal position for students looking to gain experience for college, scholarship, or job applications, and to work alongside experienced mentors and educators in a consistent weekday schedule that works around school. Requirements

• Currently a high school junior or senior
• Enjoy working with children
• Dependable, responsible, and positive
• Can work weekday afternoons
• Want to develop leadership skills and gain real-world experience
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must reside in Hawai‘i (or have plans to relocate)

Responsibilities

• Assisting with games, activities, and crafts
• Helping younger students stay engaged and included
• Encouraging positive behavior and teamwork
• Supporting homework and learning activities
• Being a positive role model for elementary-aged children
• Helping create a safe and welcoming environment
