About The Position
AlphaBEST is seeking enthusiastic After School Mandarin Enrichment Instructors who are fluent in Mandarin and eager to share their passion for the language with elementary school students. This role is for individuals who want to serve as positive role models and inspire wonder in students, helping them connect to a world of possibilities. The position is located at College Park Elementary within the Newport-Mesa Unified School District.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in the Mandarin language in both spoken and written form.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in Mandarin instruction.
Responsibilities
- Lead weekly Mandarin lesson instruction and cultural activities for elementary-aged students.
- Implement pre and post-testing to evaluate student progress.
- Prepare lesson materials and manage clean-up after sessions.
- Communicate effectively with site leadership.
- Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.
