About The Position
We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging After School Instructors to lead a variety of programs for K-5th grade students. Instructors will facilitate classes in subjects such as Chemistry, Pottery, Little Detectives, Wacky Science, Space Explorers, Young Architects & Builders, Origami, 3D Printing, Dough, RoboCoding, Magic, Fashion Jewelry, and Drama. Classes are held Monday through Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM, typically in 60-minute blocks. The program runs from August 25th to November 20th.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a K-5th grade setting.
- Ability to teach a diverse range of subjects.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Must be available Monday - Friday between 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
- Must be available from August 25th to November 20th.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in teaching specific subjects like Chemistry, Pottery, Science, Art, Technology, or Drama.
- Experience with curriculum development or program planning.
Responsibilities
