About The Position
We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging After School Instructors to lead various programs for students in grades K-5. This role involves teaching a range of activities including Pottery, Nature Watch, 3D Printing, Origami, Fashion, Magic, Choir, and Art Rods. The instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and creating a positive learning environment.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a K-5th grade age range.
- Ability to teach and manage multiple program types (Pottery, Nature Watch, 3D Printing, Origami, Fashion, Magic, Choir, Art Rods).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to prepare and organize program materials.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an after-school instructor or camp counselor.
- Specific expertise or passion in one or more of the listed program areas.
- Background in education or child development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct students in various after-school programs such as Pottery, Nature Watch, 3D Printing, Origami, Fashion, Magic, Choir, and Art Rods.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for K-5th grade students.
- Prepare and organize materials for each class session.
- Engage students effectively and foster a love for learning and creativity.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding class progress and any issues that arise.
