About The Position

HOKALI is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Gymnastics Educator to lead after-school gymnastics programs for elementary school students. This role is ideal for instructors who are passionate about gymnastics, enjoy working with children, and are committed to creating a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment. The educator will teach age-appropriate gymnastics fundamentals and movement skills to students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade, ensuring student safety and well-being at all times. They will foster confidence, coordination, balance, flexibility, and teamwork through gymnastics instruction, and plan and lead engaging classes and skill-building activities. Instruction will be adapted to different ages, skill levels, and learning styles, while facilitating positive social interactions and encouraging teamwork. The educator will manage student behavior using positive reinforcement, maintain accurate attendance and incident records, and prepare and organize equipment and activity materials, keeping the learning space clean and safe.

Requirements

• 18+ years of age.
• Experience in gymnastics, coaching, cheer, tumbling, or a related discipline.
• Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR).
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
