About The Position

LIFT Enrichment is seeking enthusiastic Chef Teachers to lead engaging, hands-on cooking workshops for students in Title I schools. Since 2010, LIFT Enrichment has taught over 75,000 students and built a team of more than 200 Chef Teachers. Professional chef experience is not required, as training is provided. This is a seasonal, part-time position with a rate of $25/hour, typically involving teaching two workshops per day, with approximately 5 hours of paid work covering preparation, teaching, and cleanup. The role involves leading groups of 15-20 students (K-8th grade) through fun, healthy recipes using a provided curriculum, introducing them to basic cooking, nutrition, and kitchen safety, while managing setup, cooking, cleanup, grocery shopping, ingredient preparation, and transporting program supplies.

Responsibilities
