About The Position
Join LIFT Enrichment as a Chef Teacher! Join LIFT Enrichment and teach healthy culinary workshops in Title I school districts. We’ve taught over 75,000 students since 2010 and are looking for passionate individuals to join our team of 200+ Chef Teachers. This is a Seasonal/Part-Time Employment, perfect for retired teachers or college students.
Requirements
- Availability: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday, 2-3 days per week.
- Experience working with kids: i.e. summer camp counselor, retired teacher, etc.
- Experience cooking: i.e. basic meals (no formal or professional chef experience is required).
- Must have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Teach healthy culinary workshops in Title I school districts.
- Lead groups of 15–20 students.
- Transport provided culinary kits.
- Teach fun recipes from our curriculum like: i.e. Black Bean Quesadillas and Crispy Chicken Tenders.
