About The Position

St. Austin is looking for an after-school care provider to supervise students (PK-8) between the hours of 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm. This role is integral to the school's mission, assisting school leaders in fulfilling Christ's mission by providing a safe and supportive environment for students. The employee will act as a witness to Gospel values, uphold the school's code of conduct, and ensure the safety and well-being of the children under their supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Valid Texas Driver's license
• Must maintain compliance with the Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) policies throughout the employment period.
• Must submit an Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) Application for Ministry within the first week of employment, participate in an EIM Basic abuse prevention training workshop within 30 days of submitting a complete Application for Ministry, and maintain EIM compliance during the entire term of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises children for safety and appropriate behavior.
• Assists with homework.
• Assists with record keeping.
• Requires students to obey rules.
• Uses accepted discipline procedures.
• Knows all emergency procedures including location of emergency phone numbers, building evacuation procedures, and student emergency health information.
• Assist with maintenance of all student and parent sign in and out.
• Assists with proper use of equipment, grounds, and buildings.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director or principal.
