About The Position
St. Andrew Catholic School is seeking an After School Assistant for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a non-instructional, part-time position requiring approximately 15 hours per week in the afternoon. The assistant will help supervise students in grades Pk3-8 in the school's aftercare program.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Maintain a calm nature in a sometimes-chaotic environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous childcare experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise students during all after-school activities
- Ability to work with various age/grade groups
- Aids students with homework
- Implements age-appropriate activities
- Monitors safety for students always
- Accompanies younger students to the restroom
- Maintains discipline and decorum
- Maintains a clean and organized classroom
- Other duties as assigned.
