About The Position

Inspire young artists to create, express, and imagine! Eager Enrichment is seeking creative and enthusiastic After-School Art Instructors to lead engaging, hands-on art classes for elementary school students. If you enjoy working with children and have a passion for art, drawing, painting, mixed media, or clay, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while sharing your creativity. We are hiring for the following locations: Avon Lake: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (arrival time 2:20pm Mondays; 3:15pm Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) Olmsted Falls: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (arrival time 2:15pm each day). Applicants may indicate one or multiple locations of interest. Classes are held after school in elementary schools and typically begin around 3:00 PM. The program begins the week of September 15, 2026.

Requirements

Experience working with children in educational, recreational, childcare, camp, volunteer, or similar settings
Enthusiastic, dependable, and comfortable leading groups of up to 18 students
Available on weekday afternoons during the school year
Comfortable using mobile apps for communication and scheduling
Must be at least 18 years old
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

Lead engaging art classes for students in Grades K-4 using lesson plans and materials provided by Eager Enrichment.
Projects include drawing, watercolor, collage, mixed media, and clay.
Foster creativity, self-expression, and confidence while maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment.
Classroom setup and cleanup.
Attendance tracking.
Communication with staff using mobile applications.
