About The Position

Performs professional work coordinating and managing the daily operations of all Orlando After-School All-Stars (Orlando ASAS) comprehensive before-school, after-school, and summer programs, to ensure that the educational, social, and financial objectives of the organization and the needs of the staff, youth, families, and public are met. An employee assigned to this classification performs administrative and supervisory work, planning, developing, organizing, promoting of, and ensuring the safety of all Orlando ASAS programs and facilities. Work is performed under the direction of the Orlando ASAS Executive Director and performance is reviewed for results obtained through reports, observation, performance evaluations, and conferences. The incumbent is required to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Education, or related field to include Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Two (2) years of experience coordinating and managing youth programs.
One (1) year of experience in a progressively responsible supervisory role.
Valid Florida Driver's License.
Must pass a Level 2 background check.

Nice To Haves

Experience preferably in an after-school or educational setting.
Experience administering a budget.
