About The Position

The After-Paint Production Manager has full responsibility for all aspects of the location’s production department, covering mirrors, shelving, shower doors, and bathroom accessories. This is a start-up product line offering. The manager supports the Branch Manager and works to improve performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective methods and strategies. The role manages a team and oversees processes and procedures for installers’ job activities. It also includes human resources responsibilities, business development, customer satisfaction, and coordination of production schedules. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring local travel of less than 50%. A flexible schedule may include evenings and weekends as required by job demands.

Requirements

Minimum age of 18.
If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.
At least 4 years of increasing responsibility and managerial experience.

Nice To Haves

Construction, installation, or trades experience is preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

Take full responsibility for all aspects of the location’s production department, including mirrors, shelving, shower doors, and bathroom accessories.
Visit work sites.
Direct and coordinate production schedules.
Develop an install team.
Ensure customer satisfaction and solicit new business.
Support the Branch Manager in improving performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective methods and strategies.
Manage a team and monitor processes and procedures for installers’ job activities.
Handle human resources activities, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and development.
Solicit new business at required margin levels while maintaining existing business.
Perform other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
