About The Position

Open Window School is seeking an After Care Assistant to support The Student Hub, its after-school program for K–8 students, for the remainder of the 2026–27 school year. The assistant works on campus from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, supporting students and helping create a safe, welcoming, and engaging community. Occasional additional child-care hours may be available during conferences and family events; these hours are outside the regular schedule and are not required. The role is part-time, non-exempt, and not eligible for benefits. Compensation is $27.56 per hour. The Student Hub assistant helps operate the program, engages students through conversation, play, and activities, and reinforces the school’s Bobcat Virtues: kindness, inclusion, respect, and responsibility. The assistant works with the Auxiliary Programs Manager and Director and contributes observations about student behavior to support the school’s whole-child approach. The position may occasionally require staying later if a parent is late to pick up a child.
