Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
A genuine enjoyment of working with elementary-aged children.
Dependability, patience, and strong communication skills.
Ability to actively supervise children indoors and outdoors.
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
Employees are expected to support AACS's Christian mission and values.
Applicants must profess faith in Jesus Christ, be actively involved in a local church, and affirm the school's Statement of Faith.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children through childcare, babysitting, school, camp, church, or similar activities is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise students and help maintain a safe environment.
Build positive relationships with children through encouragement, respect, and Christ-like care.
Assist with games, crafts, homework, outdoor play, and other age-appropriate activities.
Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and healthy friendships.
Help maintain attendance records and follow school safety procedures.
Communicate professionally with parents, faculty, and staff.
Work collaboratively with the Before & After Care Supervisor and other team members.
