AFITS Site/Program Manager
About The Position
Peraton is seeking an AFITS Site/Program Manager for formal qualification software and system testing of artillery fire control systems in support of the Quality Engineering and System Assurance (QESA) Directorate at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. This role provides oversight for up to twenty software and system-level testers, coordinates directly with QESA Management and associates on all testing and contract matters, and performs all associated human resources-related duties at the contract and program level for Peraton and its employees at Picatinny Arsenal. The manager will also coordinate programmatic-level reporting, program-level marketing efforts, and oversee all software testing tool development, including automated testing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of related work experience
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain Secret Security Clearance
- Must have detailed knowledge of and experience in software testing
Nice To Haves
- Field Artillery knowledge with experience in a Fire Direction Center controlling M109A6, M109A7, M777A2s, or Digitized M119s or as a cannon crew member on the same systems
- Strong working knowledge of AFATDS
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance
- Have a basic understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
- Proven ability to perform software root cause analysis
- A+ Hardware Certification
- Ability to evaluate software code according to specifications
- Ability to code and interpret multiple programing languages
- Advanced understanding and knowledge of operating systems
- Experience in automated software testing
- Proficient in development of test procedures and cases based upon requirements
- Good understanding of software design
