Western National Property Management is looking to fill an Affordable Housing/Tax Credit Community Manager position at Plaza Court Apartment Homes, a 104-unit property in Stanton, CA. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years supervisory background leading a Leasing, Maintenance, and Grounds team.
  • Well-versed in Affordable Housing regulations and procedures.
  • Experience in financial statements, budget preparation, and monthly reporting.
  • Knowledge of maintenance operations, landlord-tenant law, and fair employment and housing laws.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Current or previous multifamily property management experience.
  • Yardi Voyager experience.
  • College degree.

Responsibilities

  • Determine eligibility for affordable housing programs.
  • Secure third-party verifications for income and/or assets.
  • Calculate household incomes according to the HUD Handbook to determine program eligibility.
  • Complete Tenant Income Certification or equivalent documents.
  • Submit files to Compliance Specialist/Bond Administrator for approval.
  • Complete compliance reports as required by the Community’s Regulatory Agreement or assigned by Corp. Compliance Specialist/Bond Administrator.
  • Manage financial statements, budget preparation, and monthly reporting.
  • Oversee maintenance operations.
  • Ensure compliance with landlord-tenant law and fair employment and housing laws.
  • Lead a Leasing, Maintenance, and Grounds team.
  • Create a living environment for residents that exemplifies California living.
  • Manage daily operations and financial performance of the community.
  • Optimize net operating income.
  • Carry out the objectives of ownership.
