About The Position

Bell Ranch is a supportive/general affordable housing community comprised of 128 units located in Wildomar, CA. The Assistant Manager position is full-time and responsible for providing direct assistance to the Site Manager in general administration and secretarial/clerical functions. Solari Enterprises, Inc. is a full-service property management organization specializing in multifamily affordable housing, with a portfolio including multifamily housing for families, seniors, special needs, single room occupancy, mixed use, as well as business parks and commercial properties.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in property management
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of administrative experience
• Experience with Section 8, Section 42, and HUD programs
• Knowledge of Fair Housing
• Possession of a valid California driver's license
• Proof of auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
• Excellence customer service skills when speaking with residents and vendors
• Computer skills and experience of Microsoft Suite products
• Yardi program experience
• Certified Professional of Occupancy Certification (CPO)- Section 8 only

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
• Yardi program experience
• General knowledge of fair housing, 504 ADA, HUD, and Section 42 regulations
• General knowledge in Supportive Housing
• Certified Professional of Occupancy Certification (CPO)- Section 8 only
• Specialist in Housing Credit Management Designation (SHCM)- Section 42 only
• Registered Apartment Manager (RAM) Certification
• Fair Housing Coordinator (FHC) Certification

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with property operations
• Prepare and maintain resident files
• Assist in showing units and screening applicants
• Assist with scheduling vacant units for refurbishing
• Assist in the collection of rents and monies due to the property
