About The Position
As our Affordable Housing Area Manager, you'll start your day from home and head into the field, visiting properties, coaching site managers, and partnering with maintenance teams to ensure each community operates at its highest standard. You'll guide compliance efforts, ensure paperwork is accurate and timely, support teams through challenges, communicate consistently with corporate leadership and ownership, and bring clarity, consistency, and confidence to every property you oversee.
Requirements
- 3+ years of affordable housing site management experience
- 2+ years of direct supervisory experience
- A heart for affordable housing
- Ability to pass a background check
Nice To Haves
- Experience with LIHTC housing compliance
- Familiarity with RD and/or MSHDA compliance
- Prior area or regional management experience
