Affordable Housing Site Manager
About The Position
We're Red Oak Management Co., Inc., and we're on a mission to provide Michiganders across the state with affordable housing where they can feel safe and comfortable. Our Affordable Housing Site Manager assists prospective tenants and current residents in securing and maintaining our rental units. This is a great opportunity for a motivated person hungry to grow within the property management industry! The Affordable Housing Site Manager plays a key part in the resident experience by assisting tenants with what they need and helping ensure they meet their requirements for maintaining affordable housing. Always polite and professional, you'll guide applicants through the rental process and support them in applying for housing. Every year, you'll help recertify residents so they can continue to receive their subsidy. You'll also oversee general maintenance activities to make sure that work orders are promptly addressed and the units are properly maintained.
Requirements
- Property management experience
- Solid understanding of fair housing standards
- Highly communicative
- Comfortable with technology
- Genuinely motivated to help in any way they can
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Assist prospective tenants and current residents in securing and maintaining rental units.
- Guide applicants through the rental process and support them in applying for housing.
- Recertify residents annually so they can continue to receive their subsidy.
