The Performing Arts Department of Emerson College is seeking an affiliated faculty member with expertise in Ballet to teach a Fall 2026 Ballet Fundamentals course. This course explores the fundamentals of ballet technique for beginning students. Through the traditional class sequence, students become familiar with ballet terms and technique. The class begins at the barre and progresses to center combinations, which emphasize the development of musicality, flexibility, strength, and control. This course serves Dance Minors, Performing Arts majors, and other qualified students.
