The VP of Affiliate Marketing will serve as the External Affiliates Acquisitions Strategy Lead responsible for developing the affiliate and lead aggregator acquisitions strategy for Branded and Cobrand Cards and potentially other verticals. The marketer will have a primary focus on identifying new opportunities and partners across the evolving digital acquisitions landscape, developing new aggregator channel capabilities, leading special projects and product launches, establishing audience and targeting strategies, and communicating results to senior leadership and cross-functional partners. All this must be accomplished with a hyper focus on quality control, accuracy, and on-time flawless execution. Examples of past and current initiatives include: affiliate email campaigns, personalized and/or pre-approved offers, high-impact aggregator tactics and placements, and targeted cross-sell campaigns. Beyond overseeing the development of channel strategy and capabilities, the External Affiliates Acquisitions Strategy Lead will also be responsible for creating and managing execution of marketing campaigns to our target segments. This includes creative optimization, campaign planning and calendar management, spearheading control and quality assurance, and tracking performance. Maintaining strong relationships across multiple teams and partnerships, managing our external agency, and overseeing day-to-day project management will be critical to success.
