About The Position

Scott & Associates, P.C., operating in partnership with S&A Legal Management Services, Inc., is a legal recoveries organization committed to providing exceptional legal representation to industry clients. We are currently seeking an Affidavits Clerk to join our rapidly growing team. The Affidavit Clerk is responsible for the review, entry, and generation of legal documents.

Requirements

• At least one year administrative or clerical experience where use of Adobe and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point was required
• Ability to operate basic office equipment such as copier, printer, scanner, and computer; proficient with internet research
• Ability to work efficiently with excellent attention to detail in a high-volume fast paced environment
• Ability to quickly and accurately enter data into case management systems
• Ability to work individually and as part of a coordinated team
• Organized, detail oriented, and deadline driven
• Effective oral and written communication skills with knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation usage
• Ability to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it
• Ability to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and professional competencies

Responsibilities

• Process the receipt of legal document into the Firm’s case management system
• Prepare legal documents
• Generate documentation for legal review
• Scan and copy documents
• Compute, record, and proofread data and other information such as records or reports
• Contact clients via phone and email to obtain legal documentation
• All other responsibilities as assigned by leadership
