About The Position

The Aesthetics Maintenance Tech performs preventive maintenance on guestrooms and public spaces. This includes painting walls and ceilings, furniture touch-up and repairs, changing light bulbs, diagnosing and repairing minor plumbing and electrical issues. The role also involves building rounds, light checks, meter readings, and other entry-level maintenance tasks. Training is provided for this full-time, overnight position.

Requirements

Experience using hand, power, and diagnostic tools.
Basic maintenance experience such as minor repairs and painting preferred.
Must have a desire to learn new building maintenance skills.
Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs preventative maintenance on guest contact areas of the hotel including guest rooms, meeting rooms, ballrooms, public areas, restaurants, outdoor areas and more.
Performs duty rounds by using daily checklists.
Reports on and corrects noted problems.
Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplishes assigned work orders and does all necessary repairs.
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.
Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system.
Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.
