About The Position

Fairmont Empress is seeking a skilled and dedicated Aesthetician to join our team. As an Aesthetician, you will be responsible for providing a range of cosmetic services to guests in a safe, comfortable, and hygienic manner. This role involves performing facials, manicures, and pedicures, as well as selling and restocking retail products. You will also assist guests with hotel information and maintain the cleanliness of your work area and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest service and a strong understanding of spa treatments and product knowledge.

Requirements

• Certification from an accredited school of Aesthetics required
• All professional licenses are to be current
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a Spa preferred

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Perform nail and cosmetic services in a safe, comfortable, and hygienic manner
• Perform facials on guests using safe and professional techniques
• Maintain an ample inventory of all products necessary to perform all facial, manicure and pedicure services
• Sell and restock professional all retail products
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and of all equipment used
• Book and schedule appointments as required
• Follow departmental policies and procedures
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Other duties as assigned
