About The Position

This role involves creating and updating various types of manuals, including maintenance manuals and illustrated parts catalogs. The Technical Writer will translate complex engineering data from sources like CAD models, test results, and specifications into clear and understandable documentation. A key aspect of the role is producing visual aids such as diagrams, schematics, and illustrations to enhance the written content. The position requires ensuring all documentation complies with stringent aerospace standards and regulations, including AS9100, FAA, and EASA requirements. Additionally, the role involves reviewing and revising existing documentation to ensure accuracy and to incorporate design changes or updates. The Technical Writer will also be responsible for adapting technical content for non-technical audiences for purposes like press releases or promotional materials.

Requirements

• Must possess a combination of technical aptitude and strong writing skills.
• Must understand complex mechanical, electrical, and aerospace systems, and interpret engineering drawings, and apply industry-specific terminology accurately.
