About The Position

This internship sits within SAE’s Aerospace Standards team. The intern will support the team on a number of projects of an administrative, strategic and technical nature, assisting activities through the summer and gaining knowledge and skills useful for future career.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Software) or a related field
• Interest in how industry consensus shapes the aerospace industry
• Ability to work in a team

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the SAE Standards Committee Leadership Workshop
• Help identify relevant standards for the Aero Design competition
• Working with the AI and data teams, identify whether historical committee meeting attendance records can be captured using AI and merged with the new data
• Assist in the project to collate SAE standards references in regulation
• Other activities as directed
