About The Position

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking candidates who participated in the 2026 Aerospace Internship Program to return for a similar role in 2027. This program offers paid, full-time positions for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer. Interns will likely work with interdisciplinary teams on ongoing research or technical programs, applying standard techniques to scientific and/or engineering tasks, with provided training and mentorship. The program is designed for individuals to return to their degree programs full-time after completion.

Requirements

Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber/Cyber Security, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Intelligence Studies, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials, Physics, Software Engineering, and Systems Engineering, Business, Communications, Accounting or other related disciplines.
Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term and ability to return to a degree program full-time after completion of the internship.
Completed a 2026 internship at The Aerospace Corporation.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

Participate with an interdisciplinary team in ongoing research or technical programs with academic collaboration partners.
