About The Position

Join a small, elite team performing GTAW welding, spot welding, and spot/seam welding of CRES stainless steel skin segments and brackets in a maintained clean environment. The role involves interpreting standard work instructions, maintaining assigned work areas, and complying with all safety rules. Ensuring equipment is used in accordance with established safety and operating procedures is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • High School/GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
  • Must be available to work one of the following schedules: 3x12 Day Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM or 4x10 Night Shift: Sunday–Wednesday, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM
  • Training will take place Monday – Thursday on 1st shift.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and off shifts as needed.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a welding-fitting/machine environment as a machine or robotics operator.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, detailed written work instructions, and other printed or graphical instruction.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs., bend, kneel, squat, stoop, work overhead, reach above shoulder level, sit, stand, walk (sometimes on uneven surfaces), and climb.
  • Ability to perform work with both hands which may involve forceful grasping, repetitive motion with low impact vibration.
  • Must be able to climb and work from ladders, rainbows and platforms for extended periods of time, awkward positions and in high places.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined in ITAR 22 CFR 120.62 (e.g., U.S. Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or protected individual).

Nice To Haves

  • CNC Machining, Cutting and Welding System.
  • Manual weld experience in GTAW DCSP Stainless Steel Welding.
  • GTAW welding certification per AWS D17.1 or equivalent.
  • Experience in Resistance Spot Welding Stainless Steel.
  • RSW welding certification per AWS D17.2, C1.4, or equivalent.
  • Weld preparation and fit up experience.
