About The Position

Davis Tool is hiring experienced Manufacturing Engineers to translate aerospace customer part requirements into process documentation and fixture designs supporting machining, sheet metal, finishing, and assembly. The role is part of the company's expanding Engineering Team.

The Manufacturing Engineer creates manufacturing plans for machined and assembled products, including diverse coating and inspection requirements, and participates in tooling development. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent years of experience, is preferred. At least three years of Manufacturing Engineering experience is required.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with modern CAD tools and technical writing skills.
• Experience using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong project management and computer skills, including spreadsheet creation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Enjoy working in a team environment.
• Familiarity with machining, CNC punch, and laser processes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience planning and quoting machined parts.
• Experience manufacturing aerospace or complex machined products is highly valued.
• BS degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent years of experience, is preferred.

Responsibilities
