At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Machinist to join our team in Groton, Connecticut! Hours – 40 hours a week, 1st and 2nd Shift available Why join us? The Role: As a Machinist, you will be responsible for machining and finishing casting parts using drills, saws, grinders, and vertical milling machines. You'll work from blueprints and work instructions to set up and operate machinery, ensuring that each part meets exact specifications. You'll also be involved in developing setups, procedures, and techniques for new jobs and debugging existing machinery to enhance efficiency. Interested? Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a lathe or drilling machinist.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow technical instructions
  • Time served Miller/ Turner who holds an overhead crane licence.
  • You will competent in identifying quality issues and communicating with a variety of teams across the site.

  • Pendant Crane, Lifting and Slinging Experience
