About The Position

Starfish Space is developing hardware and software technologies for its Otter satellite servicing vehicle, which performs autonomous robotic actions in orbit. The Aerospace Engineer will support the design and development of the vehicle, drawing on knowledge of satellite operations, subsystem components, and system architecture analysis. The role includes coordinating satellite build activities, improving assembly processes, testing mechanical, electrical, and fluidic spacecraft systems, and working with Starfish Space’s technology partners.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person, such as a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, or otherwise meet the stated ITAR eligibility requirements.
• Must be willing to work from Littleton, Colorado.
• B.S. degree or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering or a similar field.
• Capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
• Working knowledge of satellite subsystems and components.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience designing aerospace systems or managing space missions is preferred.
