This role involves performing finish assembly processes for mass-producing commercial aircraft composite products on a moving line or bench, working according to task times.

Requirements

Fine hand motor skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skill both written and verbal.
Self- motivated and quick learner.
Basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of process specifications.
Bonding experience.
Ability to utilize measuring equipment, including scales and calipers.
Small Tools

Responsibilities

Follow job traveler instructions to assemble parts using small hand tools, bonding adhesives and assembly jigs.
Hand wraps insulation blankets, using utility knives, foam insulation, and insulation tape.
Performs light sanding and abrading of composite, plastic, and some metal components.
May perform some light riveting using rivet squeezes and pop rivet guns.
