Aeronautical Information Specialist
About The Position
The Leidos National Solutions Division has an exciting opportunity for a Journeyman Aeronautical Information Specialist to assist with the acquisition, logging, and distribution of aeronautical source information embedded with our NGA customer at their facility. This role supports daily source capture and distribution requirements working with the Aeronautical Source Branch. Responsibilities include processing aeronautical information from FAA, DOW, and foreign entities and logging/distributing it appropriately through government and leidos systems, while adhering to strict time constraints dictated by the 28 day AIRAC cycle.
Requirements
- Must possess TS/SCI clearance
- College degree in an aviation related discipline and 2+ years relevant work experience, OR 4+ years experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience with Aeronautical Information Publications, FLIP, aeronautical charts, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and FTP
- Prior experience as a government contractor is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
