About The Position

The Aeroderivative Program Manager will report into the LMS100 Product Management Leader and will be responsible for driving strategic integration of business and Fleet programs. They will own, prioritize, and lead resolution of systemic product quality issues through collaboration, alignment, and execution across the horizontal functions in the Gas Power business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business-related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience on Gas Turbine Technology or similar industry
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a leadership role within a product line, engineering, services or program/project management.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving strategic deployment of corrective actions across NPI, New Unit, I&C, and fleet implementation
  • Own the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) target for Aeroderivative tied to systemic product quality issues assigned
  • Develop, implement, and champion the execution of key programs focused on reducing COPQ by driving alignment and engagement across the enabling functions; Engineering, Supply Chain, Poles.
  • Drive improvement in processes across NPI Value Streams
  • Drive NPI toll gate processes for business and fleet improvements
  • Monitor I&C schedules and cross functionally collaborate to lean processes
  • Implement action plans for long term fixes to address product quality issues
  • Develop and lead repair and industrialization strategies for products
  • Drive customization, modification and upgrade (CM&U) campaigns and develop new NPI upgrades
  • Partner with product line managers and product service engineering to kick-off RAM programs to address fleet issues
  • Ensure services operations team is forecasting parts for critical service bulletins based on regional events outlook
  • Fleet Management: Harness fleet event data, borescope inspection reports, depot reports, etc. to derive insights into areas of improvements for product reliability & quality and feed that intelligence into outage forecasting
  • Manage customer communication for product fleet issues
  • Report out on quality workstreams during product value stream Monthly Operating Rhythms
