About The Position

The FP&A and Fulfillment Finance Leader will serve as a key financial steward for Aero, a growing ~$4.5B revenue global business line within GE Vernova's Power segment. This leader will oversee all financial planning, reporting, and pacing activities for the Aero business line, covering both income statement and cash flow, while owning the Aero Fulfillment P&L and balance sheet. Operating cross-functionally, this individual will partner with senior stakeholders inside and outside GE Vernova to ensure financials are fully aligned with underlying business assumptions and strategic objectives. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong analytical acumen, leadership presence, and the ability to drive standardization and continuous improvement across a complex, global organization.

Requirements

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Finance & FP&A Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

Nice To Haves

  • GE FMP (Financial Management Program) and/or CAS/OFLP graduate (GE employees only)
  • Prior FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) experience in a large, matrixed organization
  • Previous experience in the Aero business

Responsibilities

  • Own and oversee reported and planned Aero business line financials, including actuals, pacing, and planning data across all key financial metrics
  • Lead monthly and quarterly closing activities related to fulfillment, including inventory, transfer pricing, and COGS
  • Manage and reconcile Aero inventory balances within Gas Power, serving as the key point of contact for Aero inventory strategy in partnership with Operations
  • Establish, prioritize, and continuously improve Aero FP&A "services and products" for financial planning and reporting
  • Drive standardization of financial KPIs, planning, pacing, and reporting processes in partnership with stakeholders across Gas Power
  • Lead process simplification initiatives and support new business opportunities
  • Oversee the development & refinement of key business line analytics to drive deeper understanding of results and forecasts
  • Improve standard reporting of the consolidated Aero business line, including profit pool financials and trends across key accounts
  • Drive the FP&A team to develop outputs that enable detailed understanding of profit drivers and variances versus prior year and plan
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to Aero business line leadership, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Ensure leadership has timely access to accurate financial data and actionable insights
  • Own P&L and balance sheet financials for Aero Fulfillment
  • Set standard costs for new and used materials (annually and as needed); track and report on inflation and deflation trends
