About The Position

ProStar Flight Services seeks exceptional pilots for the 2026-2027 season. This role requires excellence in both flight operations and administrative tasks, including flight reports and documentation. Pilots will conduct precision aerial survey operations across the Continental US, managing aircraft and camera systems in single-pilot operations. The position offers professional growth in aviation and business operations, with a team culture built on integrity, loyalty, and excellence. The season runs from November 1, 2026, through mid-June 2027, with an average of approximately 300 flight hours per season. A generally 21 days on-duty / 14 days off rotation is standard, but a modified schedule is possible. All travel expenses, including hotels, transportation, and per diem, are covered. This role is not for those who prioritize efficiency over safety, struggle with organization, or plan to leave before the end of the season.

Requirements

  • Commercial ASEL + Instrument Rating (current) + High Performance Endorsement + Complete Endorsement (for C182 position)
  • 325+ hours total time (for C182 position)
  • 5+ hours PIC in Cessna 182 + minimum 10 landings in C182 (for C182 position)
  • Current 1st or 2nd Class Airman's Medical Certificate
  • 21+ years of age
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License with clean record
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Commitment to full seasonal employment through mid-June
  • Commercial AMEL + Instrument Rating (current) + High Performance AND Complex Endorsements (for Piper Aztec position)
  • 400+ hours total time (for Piper Aztec position)
  • 30 hours multi-engine time (INCLUDING a minimum of 15 hours PIC ME) (for Piper Aztec position)
  • Experience with retractable gear and constant-speed propellers (for Piper Aztec position)
  • View paperwork as a mark of professionalism, not a chore.
  • Commitment to the full season without leaving early.

Responsibilities

  • Execute precision aerial survey operations.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, documentation, and client service.
  • Master advanced image capture technology.
  • Navigate complex logistics.
  • Produce detailed operational reports.
  • Fly 0-10 hours daily during capture season.
  • Complete detailed pilot logs and manage expense documentation.
  • Operate the camera capture system.
  • Coordinate solutions for maintenance issues with management support.
  • Manage aircraft and camera systems in single-pilot operations.

Benefits
