About The Position

This is a full-time position focused on professional tree maintenance activities. The role requires operating an aerial lift trimmer or jarraff and performing various tree trimming and clearing tasks, especially around utility lines. Safety is a paramount concern, and the individual will be expected to enforce safe practices and safeguard employees and the public. The position also involves preparing trucks and materials, maintaining tools and equipment, and assisting other crew members. Storm work may also be required.

Requirements

Previous experience operating an aerial lift trimmer or jarraff is required.
Valid Driver’s license required.
Must meet I-9 requirements.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate an aerial lift trimmer or jarraff.
Perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed.
Clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines.
Remove branches and trees.
Clean up and dispose of all debris.
Maintain and keep track of all tools and equipment used in daily operations.
Observe and practice climbing and tree maintenance skills to improve professional skills.
Assist other crew members in all aspects of daily work.
Safeguard employees and the public from hazards by enforcing safe job practices, keeping the work area clean and orderly, and communicating with co-workers.
Perform duties for storm work as needed.
