Requirements

Previous experience operating an aerial lift trimmer or jarraff is required.
Valid Driver’s license required.
Must meet I-9 requirements.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate an aerial lift trimmer or jarraff.
Follow and enforce safe practices.
Prepare truck and materials needed for each day.
Perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed.
Clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines.
Remove branches and trees.
Clean up and dispose of all debris.
Maintain and keep track of all tools and equipment used in daily operations.
Observe and practice climbing and tree maintenance skills to improve professional skills.
Assist other crew members in all aspects of daily tasks.
Safeguard employees and the public from hazards by enforcing safe job practices, keeping the work area clean and orderly, and maintaining voice communication with co-workers.
Perform duties for storm work as needed.
