About The Position

Joshua Tree Experts is seeking a driven, hands-on Aeration Technician to join their Stockertown, PA production team for the fall aeration season. This role offers an opportunity to learn a new trade and work in a professional, equipment-driven field position operating heavy machinery, diagnosing property issues, and maintaining client properties. This is a seasonal role, with paid training starting the first week of August and the position running through the end of the fall season. Top performers will have the opportunity to return full-time for the spring lawn care program.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years old or over.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Commitment to at least 40 hours per week starting the first week of August.
• Flexibility for overtime and weekends as weather demands.
• Strong personal drive, self-motivated, highly organized, and efficient while working independently.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience driving a commercial vehicle with a tow attachment.
• Holding a Pesticide Applicator/Registered Technician license.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy-duty core aeration equipment and spreaders to deliver high-quality lawn treatments.
• Utilize company tablets and built-in software to manage daily routes, log progress, and complete digital paperwork.
• Prepare assigned truck daily, ensure proper product loading, and conduct daily vehicle and equipment safety inspections.
• Identify common lawn issues, recommend treatments, and flag potential leads for other divisions.
• Provide an elite level of customer service, maintain a safety-first culture, and actively participate in weekly tailgate meetings.
