About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring! Stefanini is looking for an AEM Developer in Dearborn, MI. We are seeking an AEM Developer who will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and products to meet customer needs. They participate in the full software development lifecycle, including software architecture, coding, quality testing, and deployment.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in IT and 4+ years in development.
Adobe Suite, JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), React, Apache Sling, and Java.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
Adobe AEM certification(s).
Experience with DevOps tools and processes, such as Git, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with microservices or service-oriented architecture.
Curiosity and hands-on experience using AI tools to support development, testing, or content workflows.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or agentic AI solutions for automated code reviews.
Strong hands-on experience with modern front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3/Sass, and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their use cases, pain points, and requirements; demonstrate empathy and advocate for user-centric software solutions.
Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering solutions using appropriate tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (including Agile), and technologies.
Assess application or service requirements and determine suitable technology stacks, integration methods, and deployment strategies.
Create high-level software architecture designs that define the overall structure, components, and interfaces of applications.
Define and implement software testing strategies, guidelines, policies, and processes aligned with organizational goals, industry regulations, and market best practices.
Continuously improve performance and optimize applications; implement technologies that maximize development efficiency.
Apply programming practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
Support security practices that safeguard user data, including encryption and anonymization.
Create user-friendly, interactive interfaces.
Develop and maintain back-end applications, including APIs and microservices, using server-side languages.
Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities; monitor and participate in solutions for new stack layers, often involving industry collaboration.
