Parsons is looking for an AEGIS Engineer to join their team. This role involves being part of a mission-oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers, and contract staff focused on delivering missile defense capability to the Fleet. The position is also part of a team of highly skilled engineers and scientists. The engineer will execute strategic planning, procurement, and integration of Aegis Weapon System equipment for the Aegis Guam System (AGS), and be responsible for its integration as an element within the Defense of Guam system of systems. Key responsibilities include leading coordination for integration, test, and deployment, managing the AGS Sites Equipment List (SEL), schedules, and identifying risks. The role also involves combining technical engineering rigor with project schedules to improve the system, spearheading technical interchange meetings, conducting risk assessments for hardware, analyzing courses of action for equipment and facility design, and providing equipment placement verification.
