About The Position

International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking a qualified individual to provide In-Service baseline engineering support for United States Navy (USN) in Washington, DC area. The ideal candidate is dynamic and proactive in meeting customer needs and can prioritize tasks and coordinate activities across numerous organizations that work well independently, or as part of a large government-industry team. The position will be located in Washington, DC and will require approximately 10% travel. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

Requirements

  • Experience using systems engineering practices to design, manage, test, evaluate, and support technical projects
  • Familiarity with USN sea- and land-based Command, Sensor, and Weapon systems
  • Experience with or detailed knowledge of USN Command and Control Systems and their interaction with various USN Sensor and Weapon systems
  • Experience developing, integrating, and testing software for weapon/combat systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Math or Science Discipline or 10 to 15 years of professional experience in naval engineering projects
  • Proficient with MS Office Products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Possess strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work independently
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
