Requirements

Operational experience with the Aegis Weapon System with at least one Aegis shipboard tour and one successful training/instructional tour.
Graduate of at least one AN/SPY series course.
Ability to discuss operational concepts related to Aegis Combat System and the Aegis Weapon System.
Ability to brief operational and tactical concepts to officers and senior enlisted.
US Citizenship is required.
Must obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.

Nice To Haves

Master Training Specialist (MTS) certification
Experience with curriculum development
Familiarization with Microsoft Office (Power Point and Excel)
Experience with Agile principles in regard to building a plan/roadmap and executing efficiently.
Active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

Support or lead projects including functioning as a scrum master when requested.
Support as team lead responsible for team certifications, qualifications, cross-training assignments, instructor readiness, and post-event reporting.
Develop new training materials, update existing curriculum, plan and execute development tasks to meet key milestones.
Conduct formal training for internal and external customers, conduct instructor evaluations, and submit training reports.
