Requirements

  • Operational experience with the Aegis Weapon System with at least one Aegis shipboard tour and one successful training/instructional tour.
  • Graduate of at least one AN/SPY series course.
  • Ability to discuss operational concepts related to Aegis Combat System and the Aegis Weapon System.
  • Ability to brief operational and tactical concepts to officers and senior enlisted.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Master Training Specialist (MTS) certification
  • Experience with curriculum development
  • Familiarization with Microsoft Office (Power Point and Excel)
  • Experience with Agile principles in regard to building a plan/roadmap and executing efficiently.
  • Active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Support or lead projects including functioning as a scrum master when requested.
  • Support as team lead responsible for team certifications, qualifications, cross-training assignments, instructor readiness, and post-event reporting.
  • Develop new training materials, update existing curriculum, plan and execute development tasks to meet key milestones.
  • Conduct formal training for internal and external customers, conduct instructor evaluations, and submit training reports.
