The Lead Trainer position supports the Bronx, Hudson Valley, and Manhattan regions, ensuring that training needs are met through collaboration with YAI Knowledge colleagues and regional program leadership. This role involves facilitating one-on-one and group trainings both in person, on-site, and virtually, utilizing multi-media and virtual platforms while adapting to various learning styles. The Lead Trainer will work closely with regional program leadership, attending meetings to provide updates, offerings, and solutions related to training needs, and will also provide feedback on participants. Responsibilities include participating in the development and facilitation of trainings for specific needs, such as corrective actions or audit concerns, and implementing updates as appropriate. The role requires regular evaluation of training effectiveness, proactive identification of training needs, and participation in updating existing content or developing new materials. The Lead Trainer will research new training techniques, make recommendations for content updates, and facilitate 'Train-the-Trainer' sessions, potentially identifying and observing auxiliary trainers. Coordination of training schedules, staffing, and resources, along with completing necessary documentation and tracking attendance, are also key functions. Regular travel across assigned regions, and potentially other regions or external locations, is essential for facilitating trainings and meeting with program leadership.
