About The Position

Hourly, part-time positions are available serving youth and families throughout Chicago. Advocates provide individualized support in community, school, and home settings while serving as positive role models for youth. Make a lasting impact by serving as a trusted advocate, mentor, and positive role model for youth and families throughout the community. Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of direct advocacy services designed to help participants overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Partner with youth, families, schools, and community resources to create individualized, strengths-based service plans using the wraparound model.

Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
Prior Experience working with at-risk youth and families in a community, school, and home setting
Experience working in community-based services and knowledge of community resources.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general knowledge of using computers
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage

Nice To Haves

Experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus.
Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is preferred.
