About The Position

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is hiring hourly, part-time Advocates to serve youth and families throughout Adams County. The role requires a dependable, committed person who can serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings.

Advocates initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services for assigned participants and their families. Service plans use a strength-based approach and the wraparound model. The position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
• Experience working with at-risk youth.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Reliable insured transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with an electronic health record system.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking.
