About The Position

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is hiring hourly, part-time Advocates to serve youth and families throughout Chicago. Applicants should be dependable, committed, and able to serve as positive role models for youth in community, school, and home settings.

Advocates initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services for assigned participants and their families. Service plans use a strength-based approach and the wraparound model. The position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
• Experience working with at-risk youth.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance coverage.
• Dependable and committed.

• Bilingual Spanish-speaking ability.
