About The Position

Hourly, part-time positions serving youth and families throughout Hartford, New Haven, and Fairfield County are available. Serve as a dependable, committed professional and positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings. Initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services for assigned participants and their families. Build positive relationships with youth and families while providing guidance, support, and encouragement. Assist participants in identifying strengths, setting goals, and accessing community resources. Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to support participant success. Support violence prevention efforts through mentoring, relationship-building, conflict resolution, and positive youth engagement. Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services provided. This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, mileage, and activity reimbursement.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience working with at-risk youth and in a community-based program
Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.

Nice To Haves

experience using an electronic health record system is a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish speaking) is preferred.
